In your WordPress backend

1. Gehe auf Plugins > Plugin hinzufügen.
2. Suche dort nach „external files in media library“.
3. Click on „Install“ for the plugin and then on „Activate.

Install manually

1. Gehe auf die offizielle Plugin-Website und klicke auf „Herunterladen“.
2. Gehe in deinem WordPress-Backend auf Plugins > Plugin hinzufügen und klicke dort auf den Button „Plugin hinzufügen“.
3. Wähle im Dateidialog die im Schritt 1 runtergeladene Datei aus und lade sie hoch.
4. Then activate the plugin.

Per FTPFTP File Transfer Protocol Install

1. Gehe auf die offizielle Plugin-Website und klicke auf „Herunterladen“.
2. Then upload the ZIP file via FTP to the directory „/wp-content/plugins/“.
3. Activate the plugin via the „Plugins“ menu in WordPress.
