How can I use individual forms for jobs?

The plugin „PersonioPersonio Provides software for human resource management in companies Integration“ provides very flexible options for offering individual application forms for vacancies on your own website. Details are described here.

One form for all vacancies

This is the simplest use case and is implemented by the plugin without any further configuration. You only need to set up the form and the API connection for transferring applications once - that's all.

An open position with an individual form

If you have a job that should receive a different form, you can do this in the following way:

1. In the WordPress backend, go to Applications > Application forms.
2. Create a copy of an existing form template here.
3. Then adapt the copy to your needs.
4. Then call up the relevant location in the frontend. Click on „Show location in backend“ at the top.
5. In the editing view of the job, you will find a section on application forms. Select the new application form template you have created here.
6. Save, done.

An individual form for jobs with a property

By „property“ we mean the information provided by Personio on jobs such as main location, department, experience, etc. If you want to display a specific application form to all jobs with such a property, you can proceed as follows:

1. In the WordPress backend, go to Applications > Application forms.
2. Create a copy of an existing form template here.
3. Then adapt the copy to your needs.
4. Then go to Jobs > and there to the property you are interested in.
5. Edit their data record there and select the template you have created under „Select application form“.
6. Save, done.

A use case here would be, for example, a different application form for secretaries in a company that is otherwise only looking for warehouse workers.

Note for form plugins

If you use a different form plugin instead of „Personio Forms“, you may have to create your individual form template there as a new form. To do this, go to the tool provided by the Personio plugin for the form plugin and use it to create the form.
