The plugins „PersonioPersonio Provides software for human resource management in companies Integration“ and „Personio Integration Light“ provide numerous extensions. These are self-contained packages that provide specialized functions for a specific task.

Background

Not every project that uses the plugins needs every functionality that is theoretically possible in connection with open positions. So that, on the one hand, editors are not overwhelmed with options they do not need and, on the other hand, the plugin can continue to perform its tasks, so-called extensions have been introduced.

Use

Both plugins automatically activate certain extensions during the initial installation. Users can decide at any time under Settings > Extensions which extension they want to use and which not. The vast majority of extensions also offer a short guide on how to use them after activation.

Individual extensions activate themselves automatically, e.g. those that provide support for certain PageBuilders. If the plugin detects that a supported PageBuilder is activated in the project, its extension may be activated automatically.

There are also extensions that provide functions for other extensions, e.g. for geo-localization, which is used by both the map widget and the proximity search.

Examples

The Pro plugin contains over 50 extensions as of the end of 2025. These include the following, for example:

  • Blacklist for applicant data
  • CSV export for applicant data
  • WP Amour as anti-spam protection for application form based on Personio Forms
  • WPForms for application forms based on WPForms
  • Import via XML for the import via the classic XML path provided by Personio
  • Avada to support the PageBuilder Avada
  • Availability for checking whether the Personio page of a job can still be accessed for applications via it
  • Partial import for importing very large quantities of vacancies from Personio
  • schema.org for the optimized output of jobs, e.g. for Google Jobs
