Why can't I unpack a ZIP?

The „External files in the media library“ plugin makes it possible to unpack ZIP files in the media library. This saves the files contained in the ZIP file in the media library. You can select individual files or the entire ZIP.

The following requirements must be met in order to unpack a ZIP file:

• ZIP files must be activated as permitted files under Settings > External files in the media library.
• The ZIP file must be marked as an external file, but saved locally as such. External files that are not in the local hosting cannot be unpacked. After unpacking, you can delete the file or move it to an external location.
